Jax grew up in Saratoga Wyoming, a small town with a river running through it, where he learned to fish and hunt, as well as help with his family restaurant and hotel.
Jax earned an education at the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree. Double-majoring in Outdoor Recreation & Tourism Management and Environment & Natural resources while concentrating on the Management of Recreation Resources.
Jax is a proud ambassador of Flyoming, a Wyoming company that promotes the fly-fishing industry.
Jax set out and accomplished his Ultimate Angler Award from the Wyoming Game & Fish, where he caught over 10 species of trophy-sized fish in Wyoming during the 2021-2022 fishing season.
